Is everyone ready for the most delicious Christmas Mini yet? I’m excited to offer Gingerbread Christmas Mini sessions from my home! I wanted to create a nostalgic scene where families do a family tradition together. I like anything with baking or candy because parents can become kids and kids can be creative. These sessions will not only produce beautiful intimate photos, but it’ll be a fun experience.
What to expect?
You’ll come to my house and I will have a table full of candy and a gingerbread house ready for you to decorate. You’ll have 20 minutes to decorate, eat, and play–all while I take candid photos. At the end, we’ll have 10 minutes to do more formal posing, hugging, or whatever you wish. You can take your gingerbread house home to decorate further or just eat in the car (no one has to know). In about one week, I will send you your edited photos to approve and if you have no requested changes, you can use them right away for Christmas cards, wall prints, etc.
How much does it cost?
Each session is $125, due at time of the session. Some of the cost is the gingerbread house, which you get to take home! You will receive 10+ hi-res edited images a week later.
What COVID-19 precautions will you take?
I’ve decreased the number of sessions I am doing this year to allow more time for me to clean-up in between sessions and to allow more time for families to come and go. I will sanitize all dishes, tables, and chairs. I will wear a mask indoors.

One of my favorite traditions is to take family photos for Christmas cards in the fall. It’s a quick and sure way to document everyone’s growth. This year, I’ve been eyeing Camp Milton Historic Preserve for its rustic barn and and grassy fields. It’s a hidden gem and a great place for timeless photos.
When is it?
I will shoot the first two Saturdays of November before sunset. The weather will be cooler and it will give me time to get you your pictures before Thanksgiving. Here are the time slots (I will update them as they fill up).
Each session is $100 due at the time of the photoshoot.
What is included?
I will deliver 10 or more hi-res edited images to you by digital link within one or two weeks of your session. When you see your images, you will have a chance to provide feedback–most notes I am able to apply!
What COVID-19 precautions will you be taking?
I have chosen an area of the park (the far side of the barn) that not many people go to, so we will have no contact with crowds. While you do not need to wear a mask, I will wear a mask throughout the whole shoot. I have a contactless payment option (Venmo) that you can do at the session.
How do I sign up?
I will email you back to confirm that the spot is available and you got it. Thank you so much! I’m excited to take photos of your family!
P.s. Once you book your session, you should get on clothes collecting right away. I had a lot of shipment delays with my clothes that I selected for this shoot, and it was a little stressful. Here is a layout of the clothing I chose–it’s a good example of choosing a theme of colors that compliment each other, much like a family: different but harmonious.
My husband did not like wearing a Henley. He said it was too hipster. I thought is was nonsense. Hope you have fun getting it all together, and see you there!
With the end of summer, I wanted to capture one last glimpse of my baby’s first year. It has gone by so fast! In this quick photoshoot, I captured him standing, pointing with his one finger, and smiling with his goofy, toothy grin. Big brother and sister love to hug him and play with him (in between complaining about the heat).
Here is to treasuring the little moments:
In the next couple months, I will be gearing up to do Christmas Minis again! Hope you are excited to capture your family and have proof that you survived 2020. Let’s end on a good note.
